Located in Omaha’s Union Station, The Durham Museum was restored, expanded, and re-opened to the public in 1996. The updates included building and renovating new classrooms, historical galleries, elevators, restrooms, a shipping and receiving area, administrative offices, a museum shop, and an authentic 1940s soda fountain. The Stanley and Dorothy Truhlsen Lecture Hall was also added to the facilities in 2007.
